Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility) "To build and maintain our community together and make our sister's and brother's problems our problems and to solve them together.
Quite similar to unity, this principle reminds us that the problems affecting our community affect us personally, we cannot complain about a problem that we have done nothing to fix. the idea that my issue or concern will be generally watched and considered by others who are on the same level with me intellectually, spiritually, socially, and emotionally is quite comforting. However, is that the reality of what is going on in our lives. This principle would ensure that at places such as the school I attend would be full of individuals lifting each other up in encouragement and support... is that the case?
