Vicky Free.... in good ol Meridian.... we clarified this statement as all too true.
I was 19, a sophomore in college, no job, chilling with my bff every day, spending money, eating food. living life.
Anyway...
I'm 22 now (I can't believe that) and the statement is unbelievably true. I am in my room after a full day of scholarship and I cannot bring myself to read anything else about the federal system as originally proposed by Nixon/Reagan/Bush and "The Great Society" or the "New Deal"... I'm officially textbook'd out. I cannot do it anymore.
so in the true spirit of scholarship, I'm doing what any graduate student would do in this case....
drop the books and blog.
I mentioned in another blog that I have been in a good mood lately.... I still am, however that mood has been stifled by public management statistics, microeconomics and quantitative analysis and Z-scores, and regression patterns and other blah...
What puts people in a good mood?
Usually sex does. I can't count how many times this conversation has happened:
Me - "INSERT NAME HERE, you seem like you're in a good mood"
Them - "Of course I am, I got me some...."
So okay, I get it. Sex puts people in a good mood.
However I am quite aware that there are many a happy people out there who aren't getting sex and still happen to have good moods. (cough cough)
What happened to Def Poetry Jam?
I'm not cool enough to have HBO anymore, but I miss Shihan and Black Ice and.... just the whole show.
Bring it back.
....I'm still upset at the fact I cannot find that poem. I have to do some fresh stuff anyway but its the whole point....
ok, i'm done for now
