Though we often speak proverbially about being stuck between a rock and hard place, there are times, when that is exactly where you find yourself.

Just an hour ago, I hastily turned in my last paper of the semester. I will be the first to admit that it is no where near to my best work and barely represents my commitment to academic excellence, but I am drained.

Completely and utterly drained.

However, just when you think your chips are down, you realize that other people don't even have chips and no one told them that there was a game going on.

I often refer to these personal realizations.... when you are the odd man out, as classic Charlie Brown moments. At times, Linus' wise quote: "Of all the Charlie Browns in the world, you're the Charlie Browniest."
